Boon Lay, Jurong
For its look and feel, we drew inspiration from Noddy. We wanted people who looked at the carts to feel happy, so we opted for cheerful, bright colours that were unexpected but harmonious. Designed by Jon.
Large crafts shop cart
A mild steel cage mesh allows products to be hooked on and displayed, while multipurpose hooks on the sides allow sponsors to mount their plaques. The cart also features a roof detailing for added whimsy. Underneath the roof sits a bar for clothes hangers.
Crafts & jewellery display cart
Made to display jewellery, crafts, and apparel, this cart also features a pull-out drawer for additional storage. The retractable mild steel cage mesh display can be lowered down and tucked away when not in use. A chalkboard insert allows the shop name to change as necessary. There are also multipurpose hooks along the side of the cart — for hanging paper bags and more.
Large general shop cart
The cart has two collapsible menu boards — made with swing doors that are finished in chalkboard paint. Multipurpose hooks on either side can be used to display more goods, or a sponsor’s sign.
This cart is wheelchair accessible. A lower ledge allows the cart to be run by a wheelchair user. It also features a solid nyatoh handle, white powder-coated mild steel frame, and orange castor wheels. Finished with clear lacquer.
A-frame chalkboard sign
Small push cart
This cart was made for distributing food in rooms, but it can also transform into a selling cart by attaching removable posts that hold up a large chalkboard sign (not pictured).
