Furniture pieces for KPMG

The organisation’s new Asia Square headquarters promotes a space that features and balances work-play-live components with innovative green features. We had the opportunity to collaborate and contribute several furniture pieces to their new, open, collaborative space. 

Raintree was chosen as the material for the new space’s meeting room tables and concierge coffee tables. Its grain extends from pale yellow to dark chocolate, lending a warm ambience to its surroundings. It is also a robust and versatile material for furniture-making.

The main boardroom table spans 5 metres and is finished in Rubio Pure. Other meeting room tables are also finished in both Rubio Pure and Rubio Precolour Easy Intense Black.

All meeting room tables come equipped with flip-up cable management. The underside of these tabletops has chamfered edges, which enhance the seating experience and comfort on the thighs.

The organisation collected and donated HDPE plastic bottles to support their commitment to shaping a better world for people, planet, and purpose. With the help of our partner Semula, these bottles were recycled into single laptop stands, with each top weighing about 4kg. 

Additionally, we constructed a 3-metre-long standalone credenza and smaller coffee tables out of white marble repurposed from the organisation’s old boardroom table.
