Roger started working at the age of 14 collecting and washing bottles. From selling office supplies and liquor to kitchen systems and cabinets, he was never one to call it quits. He worked at a Japanese furniture hardware retailer for 10 years before getting retrenched at 36. Unfazed, he soon joined his brother’s system furniture company, working during the day, and using the factory after hours for sub contracting jobs on the side. As his client base grew, he decided to start JR & P Industries. Roger built the company for 26 years through hard work and perspiration, eventually passing it down to his sons who decided to continue his legacy.
